The BIG Bottle Project
The BIG Bottle is an Anti Litter Project by Sebastian Hellinger and me. It was created for the Open Air Festival 'Tanz durch den Tag'. The BIG Bottle is a wood construction which was made out of more than 1,200 plastic bottles. The bottles where either found in the streets of Vienna or borrowed from the MA48. The MA48 is Vienna’s garbage collection service. The bottle was accessible. Inside was an exhibition showing pictures of my works and the film 'Ocean Utopia' by my dear friend Sebastian Hellinger.
Since we wanted to get as many people involved as possible in the process we hosted workshops for kids and students. In the workshops we were discussing the global trash problem, did a clean up and worked on our bottle.
G/litter art
Die Tschick
More than 1,200 cigarette butts where picked up and rescued from the streets of Vienna. Me and israeli/austrian artist Adam Cohen gave them a second chance to be featured in a painting and stuck on a wall forever.

Die Putzfee
Die Putzfee was made with single use cleaning products, donated by my dear friend Lisa. It highlights the absurdity of how many products you are supposed to use in order to clean your house. To make the process of cleaning more fun, israeli/austrian artist Adam Cohen and I used a lot of glitter. 40x60 cm

This is part of the series ‘Manhattan Beach’. While staying in LA for a couple of months, I got the chance to collect some precious pieces of litter from Manhattan Beach. Even though the pieces may appear randomly arranged, they are carefully curated and placed as they might have been found.

This is part of the series ‘Sri Lanka’. During a month spent in Sri Lanka, primarily in Arugam Bay, I played in a short film while also collecting beach litter from the surrounding beaches. Selected pieces were brought and transformed into G/litter art. Each artwork contains beach litter collected from a different beach in the Arugam Bay area.Even though the pieces may appear randomly arranged, they are carefully curated and placed as they might have been found.
